Indy Power Wash

Some homeowners only worry about curb appeal when they decide to sell their home. Curb appeal is important regardless of whether or not it’s on the market. There are simple, low-budget ways that you can increase your home’s curb appeal and be the talk of the neighborhood… in a good way!

1. Paint your front door, trim, or shutters.
A fresh coat of paint can work wonders for just about any space including your outdoor space. Paint the trim, shutters or door to give an instant face life to the front of your house. Make a statement with a bright or bold color for your front door. Coordinate your trim, shutter, and door colors so that it all compliments each other.

2. Clean up flower beds, plant flowers, trees, or shrubs, and add flower boxes.
Not everyone has green thumb, but that doesn’t mean that your flower beds have to look like a place where plants go to die or maybe run wild! Landscaping can be simple or elaborate depending on your style. Want low maintenance? Check with your local nursery about plants that don’t require a lot of effort. Wanna add pops of color? Add floral boxes or even some planters with colorful flowers in them.

3. Schedule a power-washing for your exterior surfaces.
You may not realize this…but your house needs washed. Yep, those surfaces get dirty just like anything else. And by the way, your driveway, sidewalk, porch, and windows could use a good washing too. A house can look old and dingy because it is covered with algae, mold, dirt, and grime. A professional power-washing can make your exterior areas look brand new!
